Personalized Chutney (Approximately 5 servings)

Ingredients

Want to make your own chutney with a specific fruit or vegetable? Then this is the recipe for your personalized chutney.

● 1kg of fruit or vegetable of your choice
● 270g of La Siberia liquid panela honey
● 200ml of wine or balsamic vinegar
● 2 red apples
● 2 medium onions
● 2 garlic cloves
● 3 tablespoons of olive oil
● 2 pinches of salt
● 2 pinches of chili (optional)

Preparation

1. Wash the chosen fruit or vegetable, remove seeds, and dice into small cubes.
2. Peel the apples and dice them as well.
3. Dice the onion and garlic.
4. Heat the olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion over medium heat until it becomes translucent.
5. Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Add the apples and cook for 2 more minutes over low heat.
7. Add the vinegar and simmer until the apple pieces soften.
8. Blend briefly.
9. Add the honey and the chosen fruit or vegetable. Simmer over medium heat until it boils.
10. Lower the heat and cook for approximately 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
